And if there's anyone who knows, it's Mr Mofid Ibraheim, an expert surgeon in gynaecological procedures at MYA. Carrying out regular procedures on women as his day job means he's seen his fair share of vu.lvas - so he was able to pinpoint seven key 'types' of labia. But just in case you're not proficient in v.ag-talk, we thought we'd clarify what's what. When Mr Ibraheim refers to the 'labia majora' below, that's the fleshier outer lips of the vu.lva. Think of the cushioning between your inner thighs and your labia minora. Your 'labia minora', on the other hand, are the thinner, inside lips which start below the clitoris and are either visible or not depending on the way your vul.va looks. Remember: whether your v.ulva fits exactly into any of the below descriptions, or whether you have variations of a few; unless it's causing you physical discomfort then it really is absolutely normal. They're meant to look different to one other, after all. 1. Asymmetrical inner lips. A v.ulva with asymmetrical inner lips is where one side of the labia minora is longer than the other, and hangs down a little past the labia majora. It may feel like it looks uneven, but it's a very common type of vu.lva, notes Mr Ibraheim. 2. Curved outer lips If you've got this type of v.ulva, your labia majora will curve around, exposing the labia minora front-on, but will meet evenly at the bottom like an upside down horseshoe. The labia minora here do not tend to hang below the outer lips. 3. Prominent inner lips This is the most common type of vu.lva, yet ironically the one women have historically felt most self-conscious about in the surgeon's experience. Here, the labia minora are longer than the labia majora. Because of the difference in length, the inner lips extend below the outer lips. This can range from a very subtle, slight protrusion to a much more visible one. 4. Prominent outer lips Some vu.lvas have more prominent labia majora than they do labia minora. The outer lips, in this case, tend to sit much lower, and can be either full and puffed up or thin and slightly looser. 5. Small, closed lips This is the least common type of vu.lva, yet the most typically 'desired' one thanks to the fact it's the shape that's most frequently seen in p.orn - and on Barbie. With this kind of vu.lva, the labia minora are completely contained and hidden inside the labia majora. The outer lips here tend to be more or less flat and rest up against the pubic bone. 6. Small, open lips This vul.va is similar to the one above, given the small lips. The main difference, however, is that here, the labia majora are set further apart, giving the appearance of being 'open' and meaning the labia minora can be visible. 7. Papaya soap is natural and using it regularly will help to lighten the skin. Use it at least twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, until you see results. Keep your skin moisturized because it can dry out your skin. You can also mash up a chunk of ripe papaya, and apply a big dollop on the areas. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then wash it off. In a couple of weeks’ time, you should see significant lightening. 2. Use a lemon juice, yoghurt mix. Mix juice from 1/4 lemon into a tablespoon of yoghurt, and apply to the area. It acts as a mild bleaching-solution that will safely lighten it. Apply aloe-vera gel afterwards to keep your skin moist and hydrated. Don’t do this treatment immediately after shaving, however, as it could irritate it 3. Apply almond paste. Soak several almonds for 24-hours. Then slide the skins off, and add a couple drops of milk to make a paste. Put on the bikini areas, and leave on for an hour. Wash-off with warm water. "Breast sagging is an inevitable fact of life for women as they age," says Dr. Rankin, delivering the news we all know but would probably rather not hear. The reason, he explains, is because "the connective tissue holding breasts in place loses its elasticity over time." Dr. Rankin does note that there are various different factors that can contribute to the increased likelihood of sagging breasts, including "pregnancy and breastfeeding, genetics, smoking, dramatic weight loss or gain, and perhaps even high-intensity activity". It's this, he says, that makes it "very hard to measure the effect of wearing a bra to bed, with so many other factors having far more significant effects". But does that mean wearing a bra in bed definitely doesn't have any impact on sagging? Not necessarily, he says. "Let's think about this from a scientific point of view," says the doctor. "Sagging is caused by the downward pull of gravity on the mass of your breasts. That's why bigger breasts sag more, as there's more fat within the tissue for gravity to work on. "When you're lying down flat, the effect of gravity pushes the breast tissue back towards your chest, instead of down towards your toes. So wearing a bra (the purpose of which is ultimately to support breasts from below) is essentially redundant in bed, as breasts naturally compress back down onto the chest." Dr. Rankin tells Cosmopolitan.com/uk that based on this gravity logic, prolonged periods of lying down (regardless of whether you're wearing a bra or not) probably would prevent boobs from sagging long-term. But this would require longer than your average 7/8 hour sleep, and who wants to lie down for 20 hours a day just to make sure your breasts stay perky when you hit the menopause? Not me. So that seems to be the sagging issue resolved: it's unlikely to have any real effect. But what about any other health implications an all-nighter in your bra might have? "With regard to the breast tissue itself: if your bra often leaves impressions in your skin from being too tight, then wearing it 24/7 won't give the skin a chance to recover and bounce back from these, leading to long-term indents in the tissue, "warns Dr. Rankin. "Then aside from the breasts themselves, there's a lot going on by way of important anatomy around the chest area: from muscles to vessels, lymph nodes to nerves. If your bra is too tight, you may be restricting your blood supply to the breasts and surrounding areas," the doctor tells us. "The same goes for the lymphatic system: a tight bra may restrict the flow of lymph to the many important lymph nodes around the breast and armpit, hindering the system's vital function of flushing toxic waste-products from the body," Dr. Rankin explains. So it's probably best to steer clear from wearing a bra in bed, and that's not to mention the effect it might have on your quality of sleep, especially if it's underwired. The amount of blood can change from day to day throughout your period. Smoking is bad enough, but after a meal, it’s ten times the killer. Yep, that’s right! smoking right after a meal is very bad and if you must do it, you should wait for at least a couple of hours after the meal. Cigarette contain nicotine, a substance that binds to oxygen your body desperately needs for digestion, which makes your body absorb carcinogens. According to several studies, smoking a cigarette after a meal has the same effect as smoking 10 cigarettes at once, and increases your risk of bowel and lung cancer significantly as well. 2.Never go to bed after a meal. Lying down for a nap or sleeping after a meal is the favorite thing of millions of people, but this habit is not healthy at all. When we lie down some digestive juices from your stomach flow back to the esophagus because of gravitational force, due to its acidic nature it can burn the inner layer of the esophagus causing acid reflux. 3.Never rush to shower after a meal. Waiting 30 minutes after a meal in order to take a shower is the best suggestion one could give on this topic. Digestion needs a lot of energy and blood flow in our body. But when we take a warm water shower, blood flows towards your skin to release off the heat, thus making it difficult to digest. 4.Drinking tea. Teas are healthy, but shouldn’t be consumed after a meal.
