From September 20-25, 2015, She Leads Africa hosted the She Hive, the first pop up co-working space dedicated to African female entrepreneurs. During the week more than 150 women learned new business skills, connected with fellow young professionals, and met with potential investors and mentors. Some of the sessions that were hosted during the week: - Setting yourself up for success hosted by PAL Pensions - Joining a global startup with the Managing Directors of Jumia Nigeria and Kaymu Nigeria - Designing your website with Ellae Creative - Thinking long term about your money with PAL Pensions - Maximizing the GT Bank Markethub - Data and analytics in your startup with Seedstars World - How to run the world with top employees with Chika Uwazie from Talentbase - Getting your message to the right customers with Etisalat - Investor Readiness Day We also had special evening events such as a one on one with African Power Couple Myma & Hakeem Belo-Osagie, a Motherland Mogul Paint Party with PTN Africa, cocktail making class with Bailey's Nigeria and professional styling course with women led startups such as Beauty Rev NG, Eve & Tribe, Thando's Shoes and ORÍKÌ Group. During 2016, the She Hive will be visiting more than 5 countries across Africa and expanding to have special programs and courses for career women as well.
