Evan Carmichael thank you so much for replying. I live in a country where doing odd jobs is not conspired a respectable job. The society is going to demoralize you so what should I do in such situation.
Once again thank you so much for replying
Hope this message finds you well! I would like to introduce myself and the services I think that could benefit your company. My name is Keith Henderson and I was born in a small town out of Nashville Tennessee. After I attended university at the University of Tennessee and shortly after graduation I found my love in overseas sourcing. I began working with a footwear company out of New York city and spending around half of my year in Asia. During this time, I learned everything from design to delivery. This knowledge has grown and transcended into various products that I have produced. After around four years of splitting time I decided to move to China and open a sourcing office. My team here has grown as I have seen the opportunity and benefit of being “on the ground here”. Our product base has grown from footwear to baby products to phone accessories to home goods and many more offerings.
I believe my services could benefit your company in a multitude of different ways. We have all been on the painful calls with Asia trying to get your ideas across but not too much translates over skype/emails. Our efficiency in this process will save immense amounts of time. Also, we will be able to source your product to hit your target pricing with our vast knowledge of suppliers in China. Our services also give you a piece of mind in each phase. We can video chat, email, call, text and/or do anything you need to give you the security that your product is hitting the quality standards you want your brand/product to represent. You will know from a sample to production you are receiving what you want. My teams and my personal experience connections will help us partner to reach your goal.
These specific services we can offer you can benefit anyone from private label to brands to individual product ideas. We can give you the security to skip out the wholesaler and start manufacturing your product overseas to help your overall bottom line. If you are already sourcing overseas we are confident we can streamline your process helping your company. The service we will provide will be in any or all phases to customize to your needs helping your business grow. We will be your boots on the ground developing, sourcing, inspecting, and delivering your product so you can focus on growing your company.
In the footwear field this past year I developed/sourced a shoe for a new performance running brand that has been ranked one of the best running shoes of 2016 and has been shown on CNN. I have also managed of shipping over 4million shoes a year for various brands and Walmart to a total of 22 different countries.
Also, if any additional design work is needed I partner with a design firm based in NYC so we can reach your design goals as well.

Look forward to hearing from you!
I know I may be too late to hear a response but, I'm a self-taught designer that just dropped out of college to pursue my business, however I live in a small town in North Carolina and it is pretty difficult to find prominent fashion jobs to intern for. I'm not sure where to start to even get my foot in the door to gain experience since I'm not going the college route. Help! Lol
Stop blaming your circumstances is the first step. Many people have done more with less than what you already have right now. Stop blaming North Carolina. Stop blaming college. If you want it Darrell then start working for it. There is no one perfect starting place. Just start. Go to events. Read up on everyone. Connect with influencers. Intern at smaller places. Volunteer at shows. Be a sponge. Add value. Get known. There are a million ways. But it only starts happening when you stop blaming circumstances and start start start doing the work. Much love Darrell. Go crush it. #BTA379

Very encouraging message...I truly believe in "IF YOU ARE GOOD IN WHAT YOU DO, THAT YOU WILL SUCCED" I recently opened a online boutique "One Box Boutique". I also work with seniors, and I meat nurses, caregivers with many years experience and yet they provide poor service to seniors...what I believe is, to do what you are good at.....Love to listen to your you tube messages.
@evancarmichael Thanks for the great content. I have a book coming out The Fashion Hustle, it details the business of fashion and the hustle needed to become successful. Check out the link to learn about my fashion history..
Great video. I like designing maybe it's not enough to start a clothing line but I did like to know how to start small since I don't have a lot of money to buy lots of sick right now. How do l sell my brand to know if there is demand for it?
Thank you Evan... the business has changed significantly since these designers started. What have you to say of those whom are making it with the new marketing values. I've heard some buyers won't meet with you unless you have an impressive internet following.
+MsTen0102 Not required... but it helps. ANY kind of momentum helps. Great designs, social media following, press coverage, an advisory team, etc... the more you have of all of it, the better your chances are. #BTA99
I'm on the path to getting my own clothing brand and I am taking after both Calvin Klein, Express, and Claiborn. I want my own style though. Something new. My logo has been worked on, and next I have to invest money into making the clothes themselves. I'm picking up information here and there to get an idea of what it will really take to get my brand off to a good start. I really like the classy look that CK has. I go to the mall and look at the empty stores that either moved or went out of business and picture my brand in there. Thank you for the video.
Thanks Evan! Your video is helpful. My approach to a fashion line is different than others. I know that you mention about lots of entrepreneurs in your video and follow what they have done and learn from their mistakes, but the things is they are successful today because they didn't have that much competition back in the day. You are trying to put both timeline together where's nowadays market is very competitive and people have lots of choices. Would you buy a shirt from a brand name company or someone who just opened the door yesterday? So, my point is instead of mentioning how Armani or Donald Trump become a succesful, you need to mention how we can put ourselves out their in this competitive market. Resources such as for export and import business, how we can approach a buyer, marketing, and all other strategic tools for this market. Also, if someone wants to open a fashion line, what would be best thing to do in terms of designs, brand name, and so on. I have been doing my research on this for past couple of years. So, i already know what those successful man have done to become a legend in the cltohing industry. Let me know please if you could help me some other way such as consultations over the phone. I would love to talk to you and share my ideas. Thanks!
love the encouragement I want to start my line so bad I got this idea from grade 8 still haven act up on it im broke but realize all those ppl was broke too whit an idea . trying this in Jamaica it gonna be hard but 2016 that's it I got to do this thanks bro
Don't wait for a factory to turn up, start with whatever you have already got ie a spare bedroom, sewing machine etc. I have been in debt twice to mail order credit giving catalogues only to find out that their clothes are not as good as they could have been. There is more satisfaction in designing your own fashion line.
I am being the boss of a medium size clothing factory in China. My point of view is liking the honest small new starters when they are inquiring to develop their own new line of clothings even if only 20 pieces per style included 3 sizes also ok. But they need to be easy going personality. My factory name is HKSEW Clothing Factory , you can search me online if needed. But we choose customers to serve as well. :)
Evan, love your videos, man. They are simple and to the point, which is awesome! If you could please check out my online store. I have items like tshirts for the whole family, dog bandanas, backpacks, and i'm always expanding all the time. Let know what you think. I need to increase my sales and I don't know how to do it. Thanks. Here is the link: cooltees2015.spreadshirt.com
Wow Evan this videos was amazing, So inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to making it. It just shows how many obstacles a now successful business person faces person before their idea or dream finally takes off. (the power of persistance). You are a great teacher and whats more you seem passionate about helping people, which is an added bonus. :-) Thank you so much I subscribed to your channel and will be watching more videos. God bless, Norm in Atlanta!!!!
Thank you for the video! I have a great idea for a women's dress line but I have no idea on where to get a sample made. Every video I watch has some of the situations covered but no one has all of them step by step. I have it in my head and I know it would work, I have a business license, a business name (catchy one) and exactly the design of the dress but how do you get it going? Thank you for whatever help you can be! Yvonne~

Bricolajul a ajuns in Romania in urma cu aproximativ 10 ani, insa in Statele Unite si in statele occidentale acest concept este mai vechi, si isi are originile la inceputul anilor ’50.
