Mont Vernon - Morphing to an Orient Beach Hotspot

0 ratings | 1083 views
Mont Vernon is located at the northern end of Orient Bay. The buildings of the former Mont Vernon hotel complex cover the hills behind the beach. Once considered as a hotel of moderate comfort has now morphed into an attractive condo community. The hotel apartments have been converted condos. Some as shown in this video are now real gems of luxury condos depending very much on style and taste of their individual owners. The dozen three to four story apartment blocks are differentiated by their distance to the beach, some are right at the edge of the beach or the communal pool, some require a bit of walking. The condos with beach view grant a spectacular outlook on Orient Beach, on the turquoise waters and the small islands in front of Orient Bay. If you are an early riser, you can watch absolutely gorgeous sunrises over Orient Bay. Orient Beach is the most the most popular and the busiest beach on the island, probably the most famous beach in the entire Caribbean. The beach is reputed as much for its natural beauty and setting as it is for being the island´s foremost swimsuit optional beach. Famous Club Orient, the island´s only naturist resort, is located at the opposite end of the beach on the southern edge. The condos come in different sizes, one or two bedrooms, and have varying features. Some owners did much more than refurbishing the former hotel rooms. The substantially invested in luxury furniture, state of the art kitchens, and modern TV and audio equipment. Weekly rental rates start at about six hundred Dollars off season for a studio and can extend to more than two thousand Dollars for luxury condos.
