Why is it so that end if statement gets executed everytime?.if condition is satisfied then statement should be executed ..otherwise it should be null...I mean there should be only one statement ......there's no need of end if statement

what is the difference between select first_name,last_name,salary,hire_date from employees where employee_id=100; vs create or replace procedure sp_pd as v_fname varchar2(50); v_lname varchar2(50); v_salary number; v_hdate date; begin select first_name,last_name,salary,hire_date into v_fname,v_lname,v_salary,v_hdate from employees where employee_id=100; end;

Keep on brother

Really appreciate your work, thank you for your efforts. Assembly language doesn't have if statements, there control statements are jumps based on CPU flags.

In the last example why didn't you set serveroutput on ?
Manish Sharma (2 years ago)
Hey Shubham, Thanks for writing to me. Because the flag for ServerOutput is set on ON in the firstexample and this will persist it’s value throughout the session. It's a very nice question. CUDA is the programming language that use to code GPUs. This programming language supports if-else but it is highly recommended suggestion for developers to not use this because this make complications when the code flows through the GPUs and also slow down the speed of parallel programming.
