Georgina used to wear Ivoire a lot. It’s a beautiful fragrance and definitely smells clean in that soft soapy way.

My clean perfume is Prada La Femme, which smells to me freshly showered and lotioned. It's maybe not a detox perfume, but it's how I'd want to smell when I just smell clean.

+Marci Konopa there’s always one fragrance in our collection for exactly that purpose. Right now we are using By Terry’s Flagrant Delice for that purpose... and because the green fig note reminds us of sunnier warmer days!

Hi ladies, I have a big bottle of this Cartier fragrance that I was gifted back in 2002, I only used it slightly, could it possibly still be good? I guess I need to try it, but I don't even know what it is supposed to smell like. I have it in my closet, not exposed to light but not in its box. But it's been 15 years! It was given to me by a family member that is so dear to me, I think I was trying not to use it up and then forgot about it.

Perhaps a strange question, but definitely open to everyone. I'm attending the Women's March on Washington this weekend. Does anyone have any fragrance suggestions that convey power and independence? At the same time nothing too strong to bother the people around me.
The Perfume Pros (1 year ago)
+Allistar Anglophelia our advice would be to select the scent that reminds you of a time where you felt strong, and independent. It could be anything that brings back positive memories for you. Georgina often reaches for a chypre type perfume when she has anything "grown up" to attend as this family of fragrances is the most tailored, refined and yet elegant of them all.

I've been reaching for those clean scents a lot this month. Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt is my answer to a winter beach aroma, it's so pure and aromatic like a cold day along the shoreline. Also, Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatique is cool freshness with sweet patchouli and maybe leather I might be smelling. A new favorite of mine that I've been reaching for is Issey Miyake Pleats Please L'eau. It's fresh grass and water notes followed by musk it's Yum!
The Perfume Pros (1 year ago)
+tanktop25 some really. I've choices there and we agree - that Pleats Please L'Eau scent is pure fresh grass! It makes us start to think of the new green shoots finding their way to the surface telling us spring is coming.

I really like D&G Light Blue because it is light and starts with a citrus scent, but my main scent for Jan/Feb is grapefruit. Love grapefruit in the winter.

Love grapefruit in the winter, though finding one with longevity is the greater challenge!!
The Perfume Pros (1 year ago)
+krosa2471 grapefruit is such an uplifting and zingy scent - we agree: it's great for lifting spirits in the winter months.

Lovely video! For me personally clean perfumes are like 5th avenue by Elizabeth Arden, Oilily (original perfume it is a german brand for kids) and indian rose by bvlgari or eau so fresh by marc jacobs. NB: I recently treated myself to a big bottle of cartier la panthere because of you ladies ☺☺😍😍😘@theperfumepros I would love to ask you if I ever want to work in the perfume industry or study it abroad where do you recommend? It is my dream job
The Perfume Pros (1 year ago)
+nadia montasser thanks! Some nice recommendations. Hope you liked the La Panthere! We think the perfume industry is a great place to work. It depends what you wanted to do (sales, marketing, product development, PR etc) that would direct what and where you studied. Why not start with taking a general fragrance course like the one offered by the Fragrance Foundation (go on their website for details) to get a taster of the industry. We still think that it's good to go for a job selling perfume in a store as a first step as then you get to understand how to speak about scent and get to know different consumer preferences - many people who work in our field as Trainers started their careers this way. Good luck

Thank you so much ladies! Everytime I am in a quest to find a specific fragrance I watch your videos first. Quick question and maybe a video suggestion: Do you have any Jo Loves fragrances? If so, what are your favorites from that line? Thanks as always and here's to detoxing together!
Arden Powers (1 year ago)
Interesting review as always . . . Thank you ! The Eau De Cartier (concentree) doesn't work on my skin very well . . . however, I do use it as a room freshener during the Spring and Summer months. My clean/fresh scent that works well as a Signature Scent and for the Gym is Versace Pour Homme ( Alberto Morillas - Master of clean/fresh/ Aquatic fragrances ) . . . I will be ordering my 3rd bottle soon . . . Cheers ! :)
Mario Losberg (1 year ago)
Maybe... generaly I love Versace frags becuose they smell's good and longevity on me is also very good. iff you want elegancy from Versace than the good old dreamer is a great frag.. also Baldessarini ambre- smells sooo sofisticated and elegant..
Arden Powers (1 year ago)
I have that one also . . . but to my nose it doesn't quite do as well . . . it must be differences in body chemistry !? :)
Mario Losberg (1 year ago)
+ elegant and quite sofisticated.. eau fraiche is better option for gym..
Arden Powers (1 year ago)
On me it really only smells just fresh and clean . . .
Mario Losberg (1 year ago)
Hi.. on my opinion Versace pour homme is to elegant for gym.. :)
my-fav_beauty makeup (1 year ago)
