Check out another of my videos: "BREAKDOWN: Select and Mask vs. Refine Edge - Photoshop CC" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTw78XQNjAo -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- In this Photoshop tutorial we’ll talk about creating a dramatic battle style poster stealing some of the style of UFC and traditional boxing posters which will give us a dramatic and very colorful poster showing the head-to-head election battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Who will win!? Download the finished PSD and the RAW file here: http://bit.ly/2esNbN4 Download concrete texture here: https://www.brusheezy.com/textures/11481-concrete-grunge Here is a list of what we’ll cover: Using the Camera RAW editor. Smoothing tones in our image with Reduce Noise. How I use Google Images to find suitable photos. (for personal projects) Using Select and Mask to cut out Hillary and Trump. Dodge and Burn with a 50% gray layer. Adjustment layers to create color and tone. Adding texture with a picture of concrete. Masking. Color grade with a Gradient Map. Adding text and creating the glowing cutout effect. Smoothing and sharpening the image with High Pass and grain. And much more!! I like your presentation and you seem to know your stuff...but the you tube videos seem a bit too fast for me.  I'm new to photoshop... is your tutorial that you are selling a bit slower and in more detail?

Didn't work, Trump as today, is still not a smart object... Sorry had to say it, I don't want to trigger people haha, I'm not even into politics. And like every tutorial of you, good tutorial, really helping me out.

By the way, I'm looking for the Myflare pack as you mention in the video, I can't seem to find it on Brusheezy, yeah I find packs, but there are so many with the keywords: My flares. Not that I want to copy you of course! But for the first try.. :D  At the moment I'm making a parody picture for my family in te states with the style shown in this video. But I'm at the flare brushes part so kinda stuck..

Haha, well, we all have our ways of looking at things. My hope was that by making them both Smart Objects, no matter who won it could at least be good for the nation 😂 Thanks for the comment!

What was the shortcut you used to view just the finished product at the end of your video at 55:47?

Tab key to get rid of the panels and the letter "F" twice to toggle to complete full screen view mode.

You know you can get the blurry edges back to normal (after using Edge Detection) just holding ALT and using the "Refine Edge Brush" (2nd one) on the Clothes Edges. Reference on your video 12:35

This is awesome, you should do more poster tutorials. I have trouble figuring out what elements to use and where to place them but these help a lot. Keep up the good work!

I loved it, love your longer in depth tutorials, quite surprised you didn't use image calculations for Trump's hair. Awesome to know you are a Republican :)

Thank you :)

I like the symbolism of Hillary's name on top and her in front. :-) May I ask an unrelated question about your process? When you do these image edits that involve multiple layers, filters and adjustments, do you save the PSD files? And if so, do you keep it in the same folder as the RAW file? Or is it easier for you to keep each file format in it's own folder? Or is it easier for space and time to just store only your RAW files after you finish with a given project?
